Candidate's Responsibilities: 

In Citi FX Derivatives we are revolutionizing the technology platform for online trading of FX Options. We are keeping up the momentum from the huge success of Options in the new Velocity 2.0 single dealer platform ("the Cube"), extending the functionality and product coverage. Our team is responsible for developing the pice infrastructure for this, which involves highly multithreaded and distributed server processes. There is a challenging combination of Derivatives business domain analysis, C# application development, and distributed architectural design. 

With multiple applications supporting options business we are initiating a program to integrate all these application deployment onto a common frame work. The primary responsibility is to integrate the options applications into this common framework. This involves complex technical challenges, and a through understanding of C#. 

At a very high level the following will be executed as part of the program: 

• A single point of launch for all internal FX derivatives applications 
• Provide a single-sign on for all options applications 
• To improve the speed of launching the application 
• To isolate failing applications such that others are not affected 
• To reduce the memory footprint of any single process and allowing users to only run what they need to 
• To consolidate the deployment and update of hosted applications as components 
• Provide an inter-process communication mechanism for interoperation 
• Provide a central cache to be used for common remote data (reduce remote data access, improve latency of retrieving common data) 
• Integrate all application to use the framework. 

Primary Skills Required: 

• In depth commercial C# development experience; ideally expert level. 
• This Experience designing and developing distributed systems using a range of middleware and database products. 
• Typically this means working on systems supporting a large number of concurrent users.  


Skills: 
• C# .Net, OO design. 
• Distributed Systems Technologies – Messaging, Caching, 
• Process and tools to produce well written low defect rate code. 
• Collaborative development. 
• Strong aptitude for analysis and problem solving 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Attention to details: 

• Self Motivated 
• Willingness to learn 
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
