Job Developer - SSIS - Sydney $650 per day - 6 month with extension

One of Australia's largest Insurance providers actively seek Technical SSIS Developers to work within their vastly experienced data integration team.

Due to the scale of the current migration project an Data Migration & ETL professional is required who has solid experience within SSIS development & design.

Role Description:

  • Analyse current migration/ETL environments, e.g. systems, data loads and processes, and be involved in reviews of systems to ensure continuous improvement
  • Build and testing to drive highly reliable data load and supply solutions
  • Develop and implement changes to the Informatica ETL in order to achieve best practice and performance
  • Develop and implement the data warehouse metadata management architecture
  • Develop technical specifications and documentation that meets business requirements
  • Develop appropriate concept papers and design specifications
  • Prioritise work and deliverables according to specified timeframes
  • Work within a team environment

Specific Skills:

  • 4 years experience working with SSIS & ETL
  • Strong understanding of ETL methodologies
  • Skilled in writing SQL Queries
  • Strong data mapping and data modelling knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience in Microsoft Integration Stack particularly SSIS, is essential.
