Specification / Skills / Experience
• Expert knowledge and Hands on in Data Extraction, Transforming and Loading (ETL) using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) with good understanding of SSIS a rchitecture.
• Should have developed complex SSIS packages involving various data sources.
• Should be involved in troubleshooting and debugging SSIS packages.
• Strong in T-SQL, Stored Procedures and other database related artifacts.
• Worked on SQL Queries/Views specific to SQL Server 2005/2008 platform.
• Nice to have .NET scripting experience.
• Ability to analyze and understand existing dimensional and relational databases.
• Strong knowledge in Data warehousing including Slowly Changing Dimensions.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of OLAP process.
• Banking experience is a big plus.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• The individual also must be an independent self-starter with strong problem solving skills.
