Sr. Medical Officer, Ophthalmology

 

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of ​Sr. Medical Officer, Ophthalmology.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Doing independent assessment of patients in clinics;
• Assisting surgeons in the operating room for all minor and major procedures and provide coverage on floors; 
• Assisting in pre-operation work-up;
• Participating in Postgraduate Medical Education and Undergraduate teaching activities.

Candidates must have: 

• An MBBS degree with MCPS or FCPS Part I, Diploma in Ophthalmology will be preferred; 
• 1 year house job/internship with a valid PMDC license;
• At least 3-5 years relevant experience;
•  Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
