1.       Roles & Responsibilities:

 

·         Designing & coding of relational databases (Sybase, Cache, etc)

Experience in tuning & performance of databases for optimum performance in a real time environment

Strong SQL knowledge

·         Provide solutions to a diverse range of complex issues related to product or customer's usage of product

·         Active participation in design and code reviews

·         Contribute actively in team activities and share experience and ideas in order to achieve team goals

·         Unit test product features and fixes on Client/Server environment Windows

·         Collaborate with team members within India and across global locations for requirements, design elicitation, clarifications and fixes

 

 

2.       Educational Qualifications:

B.E. /M.Sc or B.Tech/M.Tech or Bsc+MCA.

 

3.       Primary Skills Required:

 

·         DB designer - Preferably knowledgeable in Cache,  

·         Design functions would include DB optimization, ability to investigate DB caching,

query optimization, reviewing potential areas of corruption within DB records, tables

·         Converting Sybase stored procedures into Java classes

·         Redundancy & Resiliency – implementing Active and Standby Servers – such that data is kept synchronized between both

·        Tools: Clearcase, Ellipse, Cache

·         Strong SQL knowledge

 

4.       Secondary Skills Required:

 

• Desired, but not essential:           Spring and Hibernate

·        Additional skills – preferable but not essential knowledge of Java OR C++

·        Exposure to system management software

·         Exposure to waterfall & agile development practices

·         Technical presentation skills

·         Process orientation

 

 

5.       Experience Range:  Exp 4 – 8 yrs

Role:- Opening for WEB UI (SE / SSE / Team Lead) Development

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

Design, develop and document software components using best practices (mainly on User Interface using latest web technologies) and Implement and test B2B information systems, SQL Server and SQL-based RDBMS, and multi-tier distributed applications utilizing AJAX, JQuery, HTML5, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS,J2EE, JavaBeans, Java, JSF, JSP, XML, XSD & XSL.
Develop Web UI frameworks/libraries and re-usable components for use in enterprise application.
Take ownership of UI and components of our system and lead the development team for these components
Provide leadership & guidance for small team of engineers working on specific product deliverables
Contribute original ideas and architectural thinking & Maintain and support current system and ongoing beta programs.
Perform code and design review & Hands-on development and maintenance of software applications/components.
Experience in Object Modeling with UML, Experience in distributed and multi-threaded systems
Large website experience with an understanding of scaling issues & Must understand the MVC framework for building Web applications
Experience with Message Brokers and JTS, DHTML / XHTML / XSLT / CSS knowledge
Experience with Grails & Groovy is strong plus
Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle or DB/2 is a plus
REQUIRED SKILL SET & EXPERIENCE

BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
2+ years experience developing commercial software.
Strong AJAX, JavaScript / DHTML / XHTML / XSLT / CSS / XML / XSD knowledge.
